About
Alixandra Petrovich

Born and raised in New Orleans and Plaquemines Parish, Alixandra has always felt the pull of stories rooted in place, family, and identity. After studying at Savannah College of Art and Design, she returned home to New Orleans in 2003 to begin her journey in film production-driven by a deep love for storytelling and a desire to explore the truths that shape us.

“I’ve carried the story of my father and Plaquemines Parish in my heart for years. This film is a tribute to the complexity of those histories-the beauty and the pain, the pride and the struggle. I believe that in telling hard stories with honesty, we touch something universal. Thats where the soul lives. That’s what connects us.”
